Prayer

Father in heaven
whose Church on earth is a foretaste of your heavenly peace:
we thank you for the many generations that have gone before us
in worship and prayer at Malmesbury Abbey.
As we look with faith and confidence to the future
we pray that you would build your church,
increase our faith and vision,
and provide for all that you have willed,
that our new building may serve our community and nation,
and become a place of your glory here on earth;
through Jesus Christ our Lord
